HERE’S WHAT ALL THAT HARDWOOD IS DOING in OUR PREMIUM FIBERGLASS DOOR.
Creating a structurally solid, integrated door frame.
ProVia’s Signet Fiberglass Entry Doors use a lot of hardwood. The hinge and strike stiles are a robust 2-5/8” and 4-¼” respectively, and are dovetailed to the top and bottom rails forming an integrated frame, ensuring unmatched strength and durability.
The 4-¼” finger-jointed 4-ply hardwood strike stile provides a solid mounting surface for decorative hardware and superior structural integrity. Even our door edges are constructed of either cherry, mahogany, oak or fir, to match the finish. But it’s hard to tell that from a distance, or a picture.
